Foundation Opens Nominations for Hall of Distinguished Alumni Award

Troy Area School District Foundation is proud to announce the opening of the nomination period for its annual Hall of Distinguished Alumni Award. This award highlights individuals who have had a close and valued relationship with the Troy Area School District and have distinguished themselves during their personal and professional lives. They serve as positive role models for our students, and this award offers a vital opportunity to celebrate their success and inspire others.
Eligible nominees shall be high school graduates and generally shall have graduated from or attended Troy Area Schools (or shall have, or previously have had, a close and valued relationship with the Troy Area School District or the Troy Area School District Foundation). Nominees must have graduated at least 10 years prior to being nominated and shall be of good moral character and designation, as a member of the Hall of Distinguished Alumni shall be a credit to the Hall and to the Troy Area School District Foundation.

The deadline for nominations for the 2025 Hall of Distinguished Alumni Award is September 1, 2025. Successful candidates will be inducted at a fall assembly at the Troy Memorial Auditorium.
About Troy Area School District Foundation:
The purpose of the Troy Area School District Foundation, a 501 (c )3 organization, is to develop, promote, and finance education programs, scholarships, student activities and projects to benefit Troy Area School District (TASD) students and the district in compliance with the IRS rules and regulations relating to not-for-profit organizations.
The mission is to impact and inspire the education of District students by providing scholarships and enhancing curriculum and instruction resources. In 1999, the Foundation was formed to promote projects assisting students in the K-12 program and beyond. The goal of the Foundation is to fill specific extra-curricular and supplemental needs that improve the quality of education in the District and to provide scholarships to help ensure our students’ future success.
