History of Troy PA High School Football

The Troy High School Alumni Association recently recognized the 2025 PIAA State Champion AA Football Team with a commemorative video and coin. "The Journey: Trojan Football" video presented at the recognition ceremony included many photos from yearbooks. It encapsulates a brief history of football at Troy (PA) Area School District, however, the sheer volume of data collected could not be included in one short video. The Alumni Association is pleased to provide a more detailed look at the information gathered on this beloved program. It would be impossible to include every team and every accomplishment from the 104 year history so after the early years, each decade was represented. Note the progression of equipment and uniforms in the photos. Enjoy!
